General Policies

MNM Maple College is bound by federal laws to protect student privacy. The College respects the right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding personal information. Personal information will not be disclosed without prior written consent.
The College takes measures to protect personal information and ensures responsible use by employees. Access to personal information is restricted to authorized individuals based on legitimate academic or business needs, including individuals authorized by the student, legal agents, government bodies, and entities permitted by law.

Refresher Privileges

Graduates are welcome to return to the College to review their course material after completion, provided they have already passed the course and the content remains the same.

Satisfactory Progress

Students are provided with a program outline, including target dates for course completion. Adherence to these dates is crucial for meeting program end dates. Falling behind may necessitate extra effort to maintain satisfactory progress. Students receiving funding must maintain progress and course load. Failure to do so could result in withdrawal. Courses not completed by the program end date do not qualify for refunds or transfers. If completion by the end date is not feasible, an extension may be granted with the approval of sponsoring agencies and the College Director.
To receive a credential, students must achieve an overall average of 75%. Regular feedback allows students to monitor progress and implement strategies for academic success, if needed.

Students with Special Needs

At MNM Maple College, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enhance their lives through improved employment prospects. Our unique approach to individualized instruction, coupled with flexible scheduling, provides most students with special needs access to our distinctive learning method. In cases where audio material may be insufficient for a student’s needs, written transcripts of courses may be made available.

Tax Receipts

Tuition fees are eligible for Income Tax credits. Students may also be entitled to an educational status credit based on their attendance. Students are encouraged to consult with college staff or their tax consultant for additional information. Official receipts are issued by the college at the appropriate time for the purpose of claiming these tax credits.

Study Permits & Work Permits

It is the responsibility of the student to obtain necessary immigration documents, such as Study Permits and/or Work Permits, from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). MNM Maple College does not provide consulting services for immigration issues.
